Hey Reader, It’s been a minute! Some things have shifted in my corner of the universe, so it feels like the perfect time for a little reintroduction. :) Since July, I stepped back from my newsletter and social media to create space for refining my work. This gave me the time I needed to be present and creative—without feeling scattered or rushed into producing something inauthentic. Taking on a part-time role in healthcare technology gave me room to sustain myself in new ways—without the pressure to force my business forward or slip back into old burnout patterns. Now, I’m excited to reconnect and share what’s next! Hi, I’m Ashley – Play and Resilience Are My Jam! 🎉 As an embodiment practitioner, speaker, and coach I’m passionate about helping people reclaim balance, energy, and joy. My approach is grounded in stress relief, playful movement, and resilience-building micro-habits. A Few Fun Facts:✨ I’m obsessed with exploring how play can unlock breakthroughs in work and life. One of my favorite ways to play is through movement. Through somatic play and mindfulness practices, I help ambitious women leaders restore their work-life harmony while reconnecting to the vitality of their youthful spirit. Together, we move, pause, and create our way to a life that feels fulfilling instead of overwhelming. I know how it feels to push through exhaustion and forget to enjoy the ride. Learning to pause and play didn’t just change my life—it gave me a whole new one. And I’m here to share that gift with you! Like I said, I’ve been working behind the scenes to evolve my work, and it’s finally time to share what’s next. Keep an eye out for some exciting announcements soon—including Power Play, a simple way to shift from stress to joy and reclaim your energy in the moment. More on that soon! ✨ Ready to Play? Let play refresh your energy this week—whether it’s a deep breath, a spontaneous dance to your favorite song, or finding humor in a challenge. Fake tattoos with friends—one of life’s little joys. 🌟 |

Power isn’t something you claim, it’s something you become. This shift in perspective matters because when you try to “claim” power only in your mind, it can feel like pushing, forcing, or performing. But when you embody power, your whole system gets on board—your breath, posture, and even your presence. Your body is always dropping hints about where you’re aligned and where you’re resisting, Reader. Light, open, grounded = alignment Tight, heavy, clenched = resistance Neither is good or bad....
Something came up in conversation this week that got me thinking… and I figured you might relate, Reader. I was telling a friend how fun it was to make a last-minute decision to see The Lumineers. I’d been wanting to go, but I kept waiting to see if everything would fall into place — or, if I’m honest, to convince myself it was worth the hassle. You know, all the adult reasons not to go. Eventually, I just said to myself, Life is happening now. Go live it.Because otherwise? Life starts to...
I just celebrated my birthday, and true to my wanderer soul, I chased every playful whim, Reader. There was a vintage roller coaster, a saltwater soak in the mountains, and frolicking through Boulder with Italian food and a spark of spontaneity. It reminded me how energizing it is to choose play — even in the in-between, imperfect, or unpredictable moments. If you caught my last message, I talked about breaking out of your perception box — that mental framework that quietly shapes how you...
